“Never Lose a Holy Curiosity” — Albert Einstein

If Albert Einstein cannot be considered a genius, who can? Yet he said this: “I have no special gift. I am only passionately curious.”

I believe the growing Christ-Follower should excel at being curious, imaginative, and creative. After all, the Spirit of the Creator (Ultimate Creative) lives in the Christ-Follower.

And the Authentic Church should be a community where there is no ceiling on passion and curiosity.

  • Look around … we need answers and solutions.
  • Let’s break free from worn-out cycles of futility and defeat.
  • Can we traverse innovative pathways leading us toward new horizons.

If we seek to follow Jesus, why should we be satisfied with what a fallen world system offers us? Never lose a holy curiosity.

I believe Jesus — the Master of Molecules — has the best information for our lives. If we will access it.

Holy Curiosity … Never Stop Questioning

Questions are essential for learning and discovery.

Parents of toddlers sometimes laugh at their questions, but they always welcome them. Parents delight in the growth and development of their children.

The highest form of learning is self-discovery which is question-based.

never lose a holy curiosity
“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existence. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.”  — Albert Einstein

The dimensions of Christ’s Person—the limitless dimensions of His world—are worthy of holy curiosity. Jesus said if we’re to experience His kingdom, we’ll have to become like children.

I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus in Matthew 18:3-4 NLT

If anyone imagines that he knows something, he does not yet know as he ought to know.

Paul in 1 Corinthians 8:2 ESV

Ultimately, it’s revelation from the Father above which renews the spirit of our minds, bringing transformation and creativity.

The Spirit of the Creator will guide us into all truth. Into Ultimate Reality. Let’s give ourselves permission to exercise a sanctified imagination — a holy curiosity.

Q4U: Will you open up to a holy curiosity as you seek for answers and solutions? Will you look to the Spirit of the Creator?
