Level Up Your Internal State with Scripture

Our internals create our externals. We can level up our internal state with the expressed thoughts of God (inspired Scripture). As we do, our external state—our personal world and what we influence—will be elevated.

Far and beyond, the Bible rises to a level above other writings. And why? No other book or collection of literature has transformed millions and millions of lives as the Bible has. History itself has been shaped by the writings contained in the Bible.

This is an intriguing conversation about how the inspired Scriptures can transform everything. Source: Bethel.TV Redding.

And that’s just it. The Scriptures have proven themselves to be inspired by the Holy Spirit—the spirit of the Creator.

The themes and continuity throughout the 66 books of the Bible (written by 40 authors over 1500 years) are extraordinarily consistent and congruent. The only explanation is that a Higher Source was shaping these writings.

Hearing God’s voice

Think of it. If the Scriptures are the inspired words of the Creator … then we can take the expressed thoughts of God (his Word) into our minds. Even our sub-conscious.

As we do, we condition our internal state to harmonize with the voice signature of God.

This fine-tunes our inner ear. We can then hear him speak more clearly with promptings, intuition, divine suggestions, and personal words from the Lord.

Reintroduce yourself to Jesus

The inspired Scriptures are extra-dimensional. They transcend time and space—“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever” (Isaiah 40:8).

Jesus said, “You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is these that bear witness of Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me, that you may have life” (John 5:39-40).

And … “I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly” (John 10:10).

The Written Word is a witness of the Living Word. The Scriptures point us to Jesus so that we can experience the God-kind-of-life.

Make fresh commitments to engage the Scriptures. Read wide for breadth. Read deep for study. Meditate on the Word. Memorize the Word. Confess and declare the Word.

Father, I recommit to your Word … your expressed heart and thoughts. Your words are spirit, and they are life. I receive them!
